No. Our vinyl kits, stainless steel moldings, and ABS moldings are designed to be completely safe for factory paint when installed and removed correctly. Vinyl uses automotive-grade adhesive, while our moldings apply over existing trim without damaging the surface.
Yes. Vinyl can be removed without damaging factory paint when removed correctly. Stainless steel and ABS moldings can also be removed if needed — they simply unclip or peel off, leaving your original trim untouched.
Stainless steel moldings are always the best choice for maximum durability and a premium OEM+ appearance. They're made from titanium black stainless steel that won't fade, crack, or deteriorate over time. ABS moldings are a more affordable gloss black alternative that still provides excellent results. Both simply apply over your existing trim with pre-applied automotive tape — no drilling or modifications required.
