Installation

A driveway job, not a body shop job

Six steps, ordinary tools, one afternoon. No heat gun, no paint removed, nothing permanent.

Straight answers

Will this fit my car?
Yes — this is universal vinyl rather than a precut kit, so it works on virtually any vehicle. You trim it to your own trim line, which is exactly why it is not limited to models we have plotted.
Which size do I need?
The sizes available for this product are in the selector above — those are the only widths and lengths we can ship for it. Narrow widths suit window surrounds, badges and handles; wider ones suit roof rails, lower body trim and large panels. If you are unsure for your car, tell us the model and we will help you size it.
How long does it take?
Around 50–80 minutes is typical for window trim on a normal car, because you are doing the cutting as well as the laying. A typical estimate, not a guarantee.
Will it damage my paint?
The vinyl goes onto the chrome trim rather than onto the painted panel, and uses automotive-grade adhesive designed to be removable. The one thing to be careful with is cutting — keep the blade at a shallow angle, or use knifeless tape so no blade goes near the car.
What if I mess up a piece?
Cut a fresh length — that is the advantage of buying by the roll or in a bundle. Air-release channels also let you lift and re-lay a section while you work.
Why choose this over a precut kit?
It costs a lot less, it fits any vehicle including ones we have not cut a kit for, and leftovers cover grille slats, badges, mirror caps or handles. A precut kit buys you time and removes the cutting — if that is worth more than the price difference, check whether we cut one for your car.
