The ChroMorpher Two-Size Window Trim Pack is built for cars with more trim to cover than a starter kit handles. It steps up to a longer 2" roll for the main window surrounds, adds a wider 2.8" roll for the sections a 2" strip leaves showing, and keeps a narrow 1.2" roll for badges, handles and tight corners.
Best suited to: larger saloons and estates, and any car where the window surrounds run the full length of the body.

Installation

01Clean the surface
Remove dirt, wax and grease so the adhesive bonds properly.

02Prepare the trim
Check every edge is dry and clean before the vinyl goes anywhere near it.

03Apply the vinyl
Line the tape up and lay it down with light, even pressure.

04Work along the trim
Follow the contour, smoothing as you go rather than stretching.

05Finish the edges
Trim the excess and press the edges firmly for a clean factory line.

06Done
The chrome is gone and the trim reads as if it left the factory that way.

Will this fit my car?
Yes — this is universal vinyl rather than a precut kit, so it works on virtually any vehicle. You trim it to your own trim line, which is exactly why it is not limited to models we have plotted.
Which size do I need?
The sizes available for this product are in the selector above — those are the only widths and lengths we can ship for it. Narrow widths suit window surrounds, badges and handles; wider ones suit roof rails, lower body trim and large panels. If you are unsure for your car, tell us the model and we will help you size it.
How long does it take?
Around 50–80 minutes is typical for window trim on a normal car, because you are doing the cutting as well as the laying. A typical estimate, not a guarantee.
Will it damage my paint?
The vinyl goes onto the chrome trim rather than onto the painted panel, and uses automotive-grade adhesive designed to be removable. The one thing to be careful with is cutting — keep the blade at a shallow angle, or use knifeless tape so no blade goes near the car.
What if I mess up a piece?
Cut a fresh length — that is the advantage of buying by the roll or in a bundle. Air-release channels also let you lift and re-lay a section while you work.
Why choose this over a precut kit?
